Hello there! My name is Stacey, and I’m a 29-year-old Vietnamese writer based in California’s sunny Central Valley. You might have seen my blog posts, listicles, and ad copy floating around the Internet, but this space is specifically meant to be a thought and picture dump for my interests in thrifting, gardening, and reading.
I was raised by frugal immigrant parents who love a good deal. As such, I love the thrill of a good find. I’m also constantly fascinated by secondhand shops as informal cultural institutions — it genuinely moves me to see the knick-knacks that people end up shedding from their past lives.
When I’m not hunched over my laptop peddling words on the web, I’m probably chasing after my spoiled dogs, running to MUNA, or winding down with a cozy mystery novel.
